Kobus and Dané’s wedding at Bellwood Cottages and Wedding Venue, was on a beautiful March day. Their wedding was as sweet as the air on the day.
The Groom and his Groomsmen
The groom, Kobus, has a fond regard for tractors and we just had to get that into his casual shoot for him, driving around Bellwood. Kobus and his crew then suited up at the rustic Midlands venue, with some whiskey and I captured them in the rolling hills of the venue.
Dané and her Darlings
The blushing bride, Dané was ever so chilled as she was getting ready in another one of Bellwood Cottages’ rustic cottages. Her leading ladies were two of her friends and her sister. Not forgetting her beautiful mom and precious flower girls!
The Ceremony at Bellwood Cottages
Kobus and Dané’s wedding ceremony in the chapel of Bellwood was so precious and true to who Dané and Kobus are – kind, sweet and humble. Kobus walked Dané’s mom down the aisle and was followed by the beautiful Dané and her dashing dad. The celebrant announced “you may kiss the bride!” and the elated crowd cheered and threw rose petals into the air.
Couple’s Creative Shoot
We then headed off to the rest of the rolling hills of Bellwood Cottages and took some stunning images of Dané and Kobus in the fields. The weather allowed for some amazing creativity – seen below.
Reception Hall at Bellwood Cottages
Mr and Mrs Reiners entered the venue at Bellwood Cottages, where they were cheered on. Dinner was served and some lovely speeches were said about the lovely couple. Accordingly, it was then time for the emotional father daughter dance, a sweet moment between father and daughter, which ended in a warm hug. After that, Dané and Kobus followed with their romantic first dance. The moment was sealed with a kiss and we then headed out for the mystical night shoot.
Mystical Night Shoot
Bellwood Cottages has a stunning fountain outside its reception venue, along with some beautiful hedges. These features provided the base for Dané and Kobus’ magical night shoot. The couple’s awesome bridal party assisted us with holding lights and with some of my tricks of the trade, we were able to capture some amazing shots of this beautiful bride and groom in an epic night time shoot.
